Thanks For The Brokenness

Thankful for brokenness is another way of expressing the theology that God brings us through life experiences, which we often refer to as trials, so our characters will be perfected for His work. We can find many examples of this throughout the scriptures. The prodigal son was broken before he came back to his father. Peter was broken before he could feed His sheep. Jesus was broken before he could save this world from sin. The loves of bread were broken to feed the multitude.
brokenness fulfills God’s purpose in our life, brokenness protects our character,
brokenness honors and glorifies God,
brokenness draws us nearer to God,
brokenness allows us to realize that all we have is Jesus. But is that enough? No, we need to give ourselves freely; we need to rely on Him to direct our paths.
